Projecting Modern | Robie House

Show Info

The Robie House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is both a masterpiece of the Prairie style and renowned as a forerunner of modernism in architecture. Projecting Modern inspired Luftwerk to create a symbiotic relationship between architectural space and contemporary art through a series of four, site-specific video installations within the private space of the building. By merging their vision with Wright’s creation to form a kindred interaction, Luftwerk utilized Wright’s vision for modern design to create a unique dialogue between the practices of architecture and contemporary art.
